Media4Schools is an education based media training initiative which introduces a combination of TV Programme Production and Enterprise for schools.

Pupils and their teachers are trained in media production skills & techniques and then supported and mentored to produce their own programmes.

Media4Schools helps to link schools with local businesses and enterprise initiatives. We create programme production opportunities for pupils to demonstrate their skills, develop their enterprise awareness and this helps to raise the profile of the school within the community.

Programmes also include features on curriculum-related topics and regional topics of interest which link in with social and community initiatives in their areas.Content can be broadcast on schools own websites, and within their own intranets in schools and also on council websites to promote educational developments in their region.

Media4Schools is playing a major role in the promotion of the voice of young people within society, in increasing the perception of vocational learning within education, in promoting citizenship and raising the aspirations of young people.
