Super Schools Wales are delighted to have Red Dragon as our official radio station and partner. We look forward to working together helping bring Super Schools Wales into our local communities. In addition to working with Red Dragon, Super Schools Wales will be showing its support to Red Dragons very own charity 'Help a South Wales Child.' We feel as a company Super Schools Wales are in a great position to aid the charity in many different ways.
Help a South Wales Child was launched in 1997 with a commitment to helping the children and young people of South Wales, who experience the negative effects of poverty, abuse, neglect, homelessness, violence, crime, illness and disability.
Since then we have helped thousands of South Wales' most disadvantaged children, raised thousands of pounds and had lots of fun along the way!
Our focus is local fundraising, with all money raised being awarded locally and really benefiting our community.
We hope that with the help and support of listeners, local celebrities, corporate partners, volunteers, and of course Red Dragon staff, fundraising year on year will help more and more children in the area, enabling them to achieve dreams and ambitions they would never have thought possible.
Help A South Wales Child awards grants to projects, charities and community groups working with disadvantaged children twice a year.
